TSGC, a Taiwan-based clean-technology company, has focused on end-of-life solar PV module recycling and material recovery. The company developed a physical, chemical-free and heat-free dismantling process designed to separate aluminum frames, glass, junction boxes, solar cells, backsheets and EVA layers at high purity. TSGC worked with recycling partners to support licensed PV module recycling operations in Taiwan and received approval from the California Department of Toxic Substances Control in 2024 for solar panel recycling activities. The company also explored reuse pathways for recovered silicon materials, including hydrogen-related applications, and positioned mobile recycling systems for utility-scale solar markets approaching large-scale decommissioning.
