TOYO Co., Ltd, a Japan-based solar solutions company, has announced a polysilicon supply agreement. The company has signed a sales contract with a US polysilicon manufacturer. The agreement secures domestically produced polysilicon for TOYO’s solar manufacturing operations. The supply arrangement adds US material to TOYO’s non-Foreign Entity of Concern overseas sourcing. The contract has a stated duration of one year. The supplied polysilicon will support TOYO’s solar cell manufacturing in Ethiopia. The material will also be used for module production in the US.
