Terra-Gen, jointly owned by Igneo Infrastructure Partners and Masdar, has closed financing for the Lockhart III and IV solar project in San Bernardino County. The financing package was sized at $383.3 million and was provided by Crédit Agricole CIB, ING, NORD/LB, and US Bancorp Impact Finance. The project has 205 MW AC and is expected to supply power for about 94 000 homes. The construction was started earlier this year, with operations planned in 2026. Cupertino Electric is managing EPC work, while EPC Services is building the high-voltage facilities. First Solar is supplying the modules. The site is adjacent to earlier Lockhart phases and was partly developed on the former SEGS IX thermal facility, which was decommissioned in 2024. The project is set to connect through the Kramer Junction Substation.
