T1 Energy completed loan conversion at G1 Dallas facility, Texas

US-based T1 Energy Inc., an energy solutions provider, gave an update on progress at its G1 Dallas solar module manufacturing facility in Wilmer, Texas. T1 Energy converted the G1 Dallas construction loan to a $235 million term loan. The conversion followed formal confirmation from offtake customers, Gray Construction, and an independent engineer, that the facility was complete, commissioned, and safe. G1 Dallas reached an annual capacity of 5 GW. In Q1 2025, T1 produced 443 MW of PV solar modules, meeting 96% of its production plan. T1 also decided to switch three production lines from PERC to TOPCon technology to align with market conditions.
