Sunstone Credit, a Baltimore-based commercial solar loan platform, has completed financing for its third C&I portfolio with King Energy, a California-based multi-tenant solar developer. The companies said the financing has expanded their joint program to 15 commercial properties supporting distributed solar deployment. Sunstone Credit stated the portfolio includes more than 5 MW DC of installed capacity serving business tenants nationwide. The systems were reported to generate about 8,000 MWh annually for over 300 small businesses. King Energy noted that many participating tenants were located in low and medium-income communities nationwide. Sunstone Credit said the structure has enabled wider rooftop adoption through tailored commercial lending tools. King Energy added its virtual net metering and OneBill platform has simplified participation for property owners.
