Sunstall Inc., a US-based utility-scale solar construction company, has announced the launch of SunRobi, a robotic-assisted PV installation platform recently. SunRobi has been introduced as the operational platform supporting the Robotic Assisted Installation of Solar (RAIS) framework and integrates robotic-assisted equipment, GPS-guided precision, AI-enabled site intelligence, and established construction workflows. The platform has been described as technology-agnostic and operator-controlled, enabling integration of multiple equipment providers and software systems. Its capabilities include GPS-guided pile driving, machine-assisted material handling, robotic-assisted module installation, and digital terrain mapping. According to the release, SunRobi is designed to support more consistent and predictable execution in utility-scale PV construction while retaining direct human control.
