PureSky Energy, a New York-based community solar developer, has placed the Tamarac and Green Dale Solar projects into operation in upstate New York. The facilities, located in Troy and Schodack, were developed to exclusively serve low- to moderate-income households through community solar subscriptions. Together, the projects have delivered more than 14.3 MWdc of installed solar capacity. According to PureSky Energy, both assets were fully enrolled under New York State’s Expanded Solar for All program. These operating projects have generated nearly 20.1 million kWh of clean energy annually, supplying power to around 2,800 households and estimated 29 million pounds of COâ‚‚ emissions each year. PureSky Energy said that ESFA participation has enabled immediate bill credits for income-qualified customers.
