US based Nextpower™ (NASDAQ: NXT) has announced its second major commercial order for US-manufactured steel module frames. The company entered a multi-year supply agreement with Jinko Solar (US) Industries Inc. (NYSE: JKS). Nextpower plans to supply more than 1 GW of steel frames, scalable up to 3 GW over three years. The frames will support module manufacturing at Jinko Solar’s Jacksonville, Florida facility, with production expected by mid-2026. The agreement highlights growing market adoption of steel frames as a durable and cost-effective solution for tier-one solar modules. US-made steel frames add 6% to a tracker project’s domestic content calculation, per US Treasury guidance. The company plans to expand steel frame manufacturing in the Southeastern United States to directly supply Jinko Solar’s Jacksonville facility. Nextpower plans to showcase its steel frame technology at Intersolar North America in San Diego (February 18–20, 2026), including a display at Jinko Solar’s booth #3017.
