NextEra Energy Resources, a Florida-based renewable infrastructure developer, has reported reaching about 2.5 GW of clean energy contracts with Meta, a California-based technology company. The companies have executed 11 PPAs and two ESAs delivering 2.1 GW across ERCOT, SPP and MISO, which Meta said supported wider power needs. NextEra Energy Resources has also arranged four New Mexico projects providing 190 MW solar and 168 MW storage for PNM under Rate 36B. New Mexico’s governor said the collaboration was strengthening statewide economic activity. The 13 projects are scheduled for 2026–2028 and were expected to create up to 2,440 construction jobs.
