US-headquartered Nautilus Solar Energy has recently inaugurated its 7 MW Highway 20 Community Solar Farm in Hampshire, Illinois. The facility forms part of Nautilus’s broader 200 MW clean energy investment in Illinois and was developed with support from Power Sustainable.The facility spans 26 acres and includes over 12,000 solar panels, expected to generate 10.7 million kWh of electricity annually—enough to serve about 600 subscribers, including the Glenview Park District and CSL Behring. Nautilus plans to add over 100 MW of new capacity across the state over the next year to support local communities and state renewable energy targets.
