Tokyo-headquartered Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) and Nomura Securities International, both global financial groups, agreed to fund Greenalia S.A.'s first US project. They provided a $295 million construction-to-term loan and a $93 million letter of credit facility for the Misae Solar Park II in Texas. MUFG and Nomura served as CLA and Bookrunner, with MUFG also acting as Administrative Agent. The 430 MW (DC) / 331.6 MW (AC) project spans 3,970 acres in Childress County and was expected to reach COD in Q3 2025. The project secured two PPAs covering 65% of its output, with the remaining 35% sold into the merchant ERCOT market. It also had fixed-price agreements for PTC transfers and 40% of its RECs. Adapture Renewables also received $321 million from MUFG recently.
