Brazilian renewable energy company, Kroma Energia through Arapuá Energias, has carried out the first energization tests of the Arapuá Photovoltaic Complex in Jaguaruana, Ceará. The tests validated the integrated operation of solar plant electrical systems, including transformers, protection and control systems, the 230 kV transmission line, collector substation, internal distribution network, and 36 power centers. The activities prepared the 247 MW solar facility for commissioning and grid connection, with delivery scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. The project was completed in October 2025, comprised of 388,800 photovoltaic modules installed across 1,094 hectares and was designed to generate about 537 GWh annually.
