US-based renewable energy developer, Invenergy and Meta have signed four new agreements,The aim is to supply 791 MW of solar and wind energy, nearly doubling their total clean energy partnership in the US to 1.8 GW. The new projects includes 740 MW of generation capacity in Ohio, along with additional facilities in Arkansas and Texas. The agreements aim to meet Meta’s near-term energy demands, supporting its expanding data center operations and AI infrastructure. The Electricity generated from these projects will be delivered to the local grids, while Meta will receive clean energy credits linked to the new generation capacity. The projects include the 300 MW Yellow Wood Solar, 140 MW Pleasant Prairie Solar in Ohio, 155 MW Decoy Solar in Arkansas, and 196 MW Seaway Wind in Texas. Commercial operations are expected between 2027 and 2028.
