Ingeteam, a Spain-based manufacturer of power conversion equipment, has repowered a 250 MW PV plant in the US. The company has supplied and commissioned more than 250 PV inverters to modernize a California installation that was operational over a decade ago. According to the company statement, the repowering is expected to improve plant output and operational efficiency following completion of the upgrade. The facility is supplying electricity equivalent to powering about 60,000 homes, as per information provided by Ingeteam. The company has supplied over 6 GW of inverters to PV and BESS projects across the US. Globally, Ingeteam has installed more than 36 GW of inverters supporting multiple power conversion applications.
