Summit Ridge Energy, an US-based commercial solar company, has formed a long-term partnership with The Libman Company covering seven Illinois community PV installations totalling 17.5 MW. The Libman Company, a family-owned cleaning products manufacturer founded in Illinois in 1896, has subscribed to electricity generated from these distributed PV sites under the agreement. Power delivery from the installations has been scheduled for late 2026 while development activities continue across the regional portfolio. The community PV arrangement has allowed electricity procurement without on-site installations at Libman’s Arcola facility while supporting local engineering, project management, and maintenance roles. According to the announcement, the partnership forms part of Summit Ridge Energy’s more than 2 GW portfolio of solar power operating and in development.
