Homerun Resources Inc., Canadian renewable energy materials company, has signed an amendment to its non-binding offtake agreement with Sengi Solar Importação e Exportação Indústria e Comércio. The amendment increased the minimum annual supply of solar glass from 20,000 tons to 100,000 tons. The price remained at $750 per ton on a FOB basis from the Belmonte, Bahia plant in Brazil. The change followed developments in Brazil’s solar panel market, including higher import tariffs and reduced tariff exemptions for imported equipment. The amendment also aligned with expectations of continued growth in domestic clean energy demand, including demand linked to data center expansion for artificial intelligence processing.
