Greening, a global and diversified company focused on renewable energy, through its US subsidiary Greening USA, partnered with Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure to co-develop renewable energy projects in the US. The alliance focused on photovoltaic and energy storage (BESS) infrastructures, combined or independent. Projects were set in MISO South and SPP regions. Greening contributed a pipeline of about 1 GW (AC) of solar and/or BESS capacity. Atlantica provided financial resources. The joint venture aimed to develop the portfolio up to ready-to-build phase. Both companies planned to either split or sell assets at that stage. They agreed to keep identifying new projects to add to the venture. The agreement outlined efficient project execution, streamlined financing, and faster deployment timelines.
