Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI), an engineering, construction, manufacturing and clean energy provider, installed a 2.16 MW rooftop solar system at its Excellerate facility in Olathe, Kansas. The system featured 4,320 panels and 30 roof-mounted inverters. The array installation was scheduled for completion by late April 2025, with full electrical completion expected in May. The project followed UL 3741 rules to meet safety shutdown needs without using extra shutdown devices on each panel, which saved costs. The rooftop system helped cut down the facility’s electricity use. It also offered training opportunities for employees interested in the solar energy sector. Excellerate served as FTI’s manufacturing brand.
