Exus Renewables North America, a US-based developer and operator of utility-scale renewable energy projects, has acquired Ozone Renewables to strengthen internal greenfield development capabilities. The acquisition has integrated Ozone Renewables’ early-stage pipeline of wind, PV and energy storage projects into Exus Renewables North America’s development platform. Ozone’s development team has previously helped partners commercialize more than 3 GW of operational wind projects across several markets. The team has also added gigawatts of utility-scale solar developments and has experience advancing projects in New York, Pennsylvania and the Pacific Northwest. Following the acquisition, Larry Seiler will lead Exus Renewables North America’s greenfield development team as project development progresses across PJM, MISO, WECC and SPP markets. Exus Renewables North America currently manages a renewable portfolio exceeding 5.8 GW, including 764 MW operating or under construction.
