US-based renewable energy technology company, Enphase Energy has stated that the IQ9N-3P commercial microinverter is expected to start shipping this month for 480 VAC three-phase commercial solar systems. The microinverter is built using gallium nitride (GaN) technology and is designed to simplify system design, reduce installation and balance-of-system costs, and improve efficiency for large commercial projects. It is manufactured with US domestic content and meets Build America, Buy America (BABA) and Buy American Act (BAA) requirements. The product is backed by a 25-year warranty. The IQ9N-3P supports both new project designs and repowering applications and is positioned for 480 VAC and 208 VAC three-phase commercial solar installations.
