Enphase Energy, Inc., a US-based energy technology company, has introduced Power Control software for IQ9 and IQ8 microinverter-based small commercial solar systems. The software allows installers to configure aggregate export limits through the Enphase Installer App, enabling systems to operate within defined grid constraints. It supports IQ Gateway Commercial 2 and IQ Gateway Commercial Pro hardware using consumption CTs or a DTS-310 remote meter depending on monitoring configuration. The company has California Energy Commission-listed commercial inverter configurations supporting Power Control Systems. The solution enables non-export and limited-export installations under California Rule 21 Options 8 and 10. Software-defined export management can reduce transformer upgrades, service resizing, and third-party export hardware requirements.
