Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd., an Israel-based renewable energy developer and IPP, has reached final development milestones for the CO Bar Complex in Arizona. The company has stated that the five-stage complex totals 1.211 GW of solar generation capacity and 4.0 GWh of energy storage capacity. According to the disclosure, CO Bar 1 includes 258 MW of solar generation capacity and 824 MWh of storage capacity. CO Bar 2 and CO Bar 3 phases add 480 MW and 473 MW of solar generation capacity, respectively. The final stages CO Bar 4 and CO Bar 5 are storage-only stages providing 1,600 MWh and 1,576 MWh of energy storage. The project has finalized a 1 GW AC Large Generator Interconnection Agreement. The filing also confirms that two 20-year busbar Energy Service Agreements have been signed with Salt River Project. Initial commercial operations are expected to begin between the second half of 2027 and the first half of 2028. Recently, Enlight has finalised $340 million in tax equity financing for its Arizona Roadrunner solar project.
