energyRe, a US-based energy developer, has entered into 25-year power purchase agreements with an investor-owned utility in South Carolina for five PV projects. The agreements cover Shorthorn Solar, Culpepper Solar, Clarendon Solar, Rollins Solar, and Ross Solar, forming a portfolio with a combined installed capacity of 360 MW. The announcement states that the long-term contracts secure electricity offtake for the full portfolio. Upon reaching commercial operation, the projects are expected to supply electricity to approximately 58,600 homes annually.
