Energea, a US-based renewable investment platform, has acquired the 1.3 MW Pains Project in Minas Gerais for $1.3 million. The operational facility offered immediate cash flow, a projected 15% internal rate of return, and long-term subscriber contracts through Consórcio Sunrise. It used JA Solar modules, Sungrow inverters, and MetalLight Solar racking, with expected first-year output of 1,915 MWh. The acquisition expanded Energea’s Community Solar portfolio to 22.75 MW and strengthened regional diversification.
