Enact Solar, a US-based solar software company, has announced the acquisition of PVComplete to form an end-to-end AI-enabled solar software platform. The combined platform integrates PVComplete’s solar design and engineering tools with Enact Solar’s software covering project design, proposal creation, asset management, fleet monitoring, and system maintenance. According to the release, the integration enables data from operating solar assets to inform engineering and design workflows. The platform is intended to serve residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar developers. As part of the acquisition, PVComplete’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer have joined Enact Solar in the same roles. The combined platform will continue supporting existing customers while expanding functionality across the solar project lifecycle. Recently, Enact Solar and Blu Banyan have partnered to integrate design, ERP, and project workflows for solar installers.
