EDF Power Solutions North America has commissioned its first solar and storage project in New Mexico. The Milagro Solar+Storage project in Doña Ana County has a 150 MW solar plant and a 300 MWh battery system. It stores solar energy produced during the day for use later, helping balance power supply and demand. The project will support the local economy over the next 20 years. EDF Power Solutions developed it with El Paso Electric Company, while Blattner and Rosendin handled construction and electrical work. The Doña Ana County community supported the project, which aims to strengthen energy reliability in the region.
