DESLOC, a global home-security manufacturer, has introduced the V150 Plus smart lock powered by a 4.8-inch perovskite solar module. The system charged from ≥200 lux and sustained operation under typical 4,000-lux conditions through a light-sensing algorithm that optimized energy allocation. Targeting US households with semi-shaded porches, it offered maintenance-free performance and reduced battery dependence. Traditional solar smart locks have failed to deliver perpetual power because crystalline-silicon panels cannot charge in shaded or low-light areas, the company said. DESLOC confirmed that the product will be showcased at CES 2026, scheduled for January 6–9, 2026, in Las Vegas.
