US-based The Connecticut Green Bank has announced the completion of a 344-kW solar photovoltaic installation financed through C-PACE at 30 Grandview Court in Cheshire, Connecticut. The system, installed by Smart Roofs Solar Inc. of Monroe, was expected to generate energy cost savings of about $2.3 million over its lifetime. The Best Postcards, a direct mail marketing company that purchased the site in 2022, operated from the 29,650-square-foot facility. The project was part of C-PACE’s broader program, which had financed over 400 projects and saved property owners more than $400 million in energy costs. The Green Bank stated that the installation would help The Best Postcards lower energy expenses and continue focusing on its business operations.
