US-based Boviet Solar Technology Co. Ltd., global solar energy technology company, has begun PV module production at its new facility in Greenville, North Carolina. The site marked its first US manufacturing operation and produced the initial shipment-ready modules in May 2025. The facility supported residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects and was expected to reach 2 GW annual module capacity. A second phase aimed to add another 2 GW PV cell manufacturing line. The expansion focused on increasing domestic solar manufacturing. The development followed a grand opening and included contributions to local job creation. At ACP Clean Power 2025 in Phoenix, Boviet Solar planned to exhibit Gamma and Vega Series modules.
