US-based Nextracker, a solar technology solution, has acquired US-based Bentek Corporation for approximately $78 million, including earnout consideration. The deal added Bentek’s electrical balance of system (eBOS) products to Nextracker’s solar tracker platform. Bentek’s eBOS components have been used in utility-scale solar projects for over 15 years and were known for reliability and rigorous testing. The acquisition supported Nextracker’s strategy to offer integrated solutions and strengthen its US supply chain. Bentek’s eBOS products included trunk bus, combiner box, and configurable harness solutions, all designed for efficient, safe installation and compatibility with both trackers and fixed tilt systems. These products were available in North America, with future for broader market availability.
