US-based Artisun Solar, a commercial solar developer has completed a 2.2 MW rooftop solar project at Steel & Pipe Supply Co.’s Catoosa facilities in Oklahoma. The installation covered two sites: 1.25 MW at Fort Gibson Road and 950 kW at Bird Creek Avenue. It was among the state’s largest rooftop solar projects. The systems were projected to offset over 58,000 metric tons of CO₂ emissions over their lifetime. Steel & Pipe Supply used its roof space to generate power, helping lower annual energy costs and protect against rising utility rates. The project did not disrupt ongoing operations.
