US-headquartered Arevon Energy, Inc. has begun operations at its 264 MW (DC) Ratts 1 and Heirloom Solar facilities in Pike County, Indiana. The projects, worth nearly $400 million, are Arevon’s first utility-scale assets in the state. Ratts 1 operates under a power purchase agreement with the Indiana Municipal Power Agency, while Meta is the offtaker for Heirloom. Together, they are expected to deliver over $86 million in lifetime payments to local governments. Construction has employed more than 200 workers and supported nearby businesses. Arevon said the projects reflect its commitment to education, housing, and public safety programs. The company is also expanding in the Midwest with ongoing developments in Missouri and additional solar projects across Indiana.
