Altus Power, a commercial-scale power company, announces the acquisition of a 12 MW operating solar portfolio from Hecate Energy across Florida, Georgia, Maryland, and Rhode Island. The transaction expands Altus Power’s footprint in Mid-Atlantic and Southeast markets experiencing increased power demand. The projects serve a mix of enterprise and utility offtakers and add to the company’s existing asset base. Altus Power reports operating 1.3 GW of solar capacity across more than 600 projects in 30 states and Washington, DC.
