US-based commercial-scale clean electricity provider Altus Power has announced an agreement to build a 1.6 MW solar project at San Manuel Landing, a logistics center in San Bernardino, California. The project is being developed in collaboration with Trammell Crow Company and the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians (SMBMI), who will lease the roof space to Altus Power. The solar array will provide clean, low-cost energy to the building’s tenant and help reduce carbon emissions by over 21,000 metric tons—equivalent to preventing the burning of 23 million pounds of coal. Upon completion, this project will add to Altus Power’s California portfolio, which already exceeds 120 MW across the state.
