Altus Power has acquired an 8.5 MW solar array in New Jersey, expanding its portfolio in the state to 185.5 MW. The ground-mounted project, spanning 63 acres, will generate approximately 8,776,000 kWh annually, avoiding over 6,100 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions. The clean power will be sold to PJM, the local system operator, along with Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SRECs). Altus Power serves more than 450 enterprises across 25 states, supporting their carbon reduction goals through distributed solar arrays. As a pioneer in Community Solar, the company also serves over 24,000 customers nationwide, offering clean energy savings to homeowners and renters of various income levels.
