Akcome’s 2.1 billion yuan investment in PV manufacturing

Akcome Technology plans a 4.6GW HJT cell project with a 2.1 billion yuan investment. The first production line is set to be operational by January 2024. Existing facilities in Suzhou, Ganzhou, Huzhou, and Zhoushan achieve 3.2GW HJT cell, 0.8GW PERC cell, and 10.4GW module production. With 2.95GW HJT module orders and limited in-house cell capacity, demand surpasses current production capabilities.
