India’s Aditya Ultra Steel Ltd has announced plans to set up a 5 MW solar plant in Rajkot, Gujarat, with an investment of INR 15 crore (~$1.77 million) to meet its energy needs and enhance sustainability. The steel manufacturer reported a net profit of INR 5.87 crore (~$0.696 million) for April-September 2024-25, with revenue reaching INR 312.39 crore (~$37 million). Listed on the NSE SME platform, the company’s solar initiative aligns with its strategy to expand production and improve operational efficiency.
