ACWA Power will develop Indonesia’s largest green hydrogen facility in partnership with PLN and Pupuk Indonesia. The Garuda Hidrogen Hijau Project, plans to start operations in 2026, generating 600MW from solar and wind, producing 150,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually. The estimated project cost exceeds $1 billion. EPC bidding is slated for Q1 2024, with financial close in late 2025.
