ACCIONA completes 29.4 MW solar plant at Escepar wind farm

ACCIONA Energía completes 29.4 MW hybrid plant at Escepar wind farm site in Villalba del Rey and Tinajas (Cuenca). The solar facility, comprising 54,208 modules, generates 48,170 MWh annually, powering 13,800 homes. Combined with the existing 57,500 MWh capacity from the wind farm, it serves 30,000+ homes, averting 46,000 tons of CO2 emissions yearly—equivalent to planting 2.5 million trees or removing 17,750 cars. During construction, 130 jobs were created. ACCIONA Energía’s Social Impact Management program, implemented in all its facilities, aims to positively impact local communities by reinvesting a portion of its annual income in the area.
