PhilippinesAboitiz Power Corporation (AboitizPower), through Aboitiz Renewables Inc. (ARI), energized the 45-MW Armenia Solar Project in Tarlac, marking its first solar plant in Central Luzon. The facility was connected to the grid through an 11.58-kilometer transmission line spanning five barangays.This project became AboitizPower’s fourth solar facility, following the San Carlos Sun Power Plant (59 MW) in Negros Occidental, the Cayanga-Bugallon Solar Facility (94 MW), and the Laoag Solar Plant (159 MW) in Pangasinan. The company aimed to achieve 4,600 MW of renewable capacity by 2030.
