TotalEnergies ENEOS installs 2.5 MW solar rooftop on PT Bintang

Singapore based energy company, TotalEnergies ENEOS, has completed a 2.5 MWp solar rooftop installation for PT Bintang Indokarya Gemilang, Indonesia’s prominent shoe manufacturer and partner of a globally renowned sportswear brand. As part of this agreement, the funding, installations and operations of the system is taken of by TotalEnergies ENEOS, while PT Bintang Indokarya Gemilang pays for the generated electricity over a 25-year period without having to make any upfront cost investments. The installation, consisting of over 4,500 solar modules, generates around 3,740 MWh of electricity annually, significantly reducing PT Bintang Indokarya Gemilang’s energy costs. Additionally, the system cuts down carbon emissions by about 3,030 tons, equivalent to planting 45,450 trees or removing 650 cars from the roads.
