US-headquartered Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) approved the 140 MW Mink Solar project by Geenex Solar. The company specializes in utility-scale solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS). The project is spanning 1,800 acres in Defiance and Paulding counties. Located in Hicksville and Carryall townships, the facility will feature solar arrays tracking to maximize energy production. The project will contribute to Ohio’s renewable energy goals while promoting economic growth through job creation and increased tax revenues.
